Luxury watch company Longines announced a historic partnership with internationally acclaimed Tsotsi actress Terry Pheto, making her the only South African personality to be associated with the international brand. While no further details about the Switzerland based brand’s partnership with the award-wining actress and former L’Oréal brand ambassador have been revealed, should the relationship be explored any further, she would be joining the likes of power house names such as Kate Winslet, Simon Baker and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Considered by many as one of the most beautiful women in the world Bollywood star, Aishwarya Rai, who also happens to be a L’Oréal brand ambassador, has been known for embodying the Longines slogan “Elegance is an attitude” for more than fifteen years. In what is one of the most beautiful films I’ve seen from a brand, Aishwarya joined the Swiss watch brand to launch the new Longines DolceVita during the Prix de Diane Longines 2015 in Chantilly, France.
Two years later, this honour was bestowed upon our very own leading lady, Terry, when she was exclusively invited to the Prix de Diane Longines, one the world’s most important race for fillies in Chantilly France, as a VIP guest of the Principles of Longines. “We could not have made a more fitting choice of a South African association for Longines.
