LOOTLOVE GIVES HER BRAND SOME MAJOR FOOTWORK

This month, shoe brand, Footwork has announced Radio & TV personality, Luthando “Lootlove” Shosha as the Face of its winter ’17 campaign. This has been one of my favourite brand collaborations to witness this year. One reason is that it is very unexpected as Luthando is not the most overdone and obvious choice. It has also been very interesting to see the brand effortlessly assimilate Lootlove’s aesthetic.I’ve always enjoyed the leggy presenter’s androgynous style and commitment to standing out instead of blending in with the rest. Her unique style is what attracted brands such as G-Star Raw and Flying Fish, who pride themselves in deviating from the norm by doing things differently. “I don’t consider myself to have the most conventional style. The way I dress is a representation of my personality, which encapsulates individuality, edge, attitude and street. It is always exciting to collaborate with brands that understand me,” the self proclaimed “Thug” told guests at a G-Star event she hosted.

According to Footwork, the 2017 winter collection focuses on “unique heels, stand out stilettos, show stopping boots as well as indulgent fabrics that will make any woman feel fierce.” “It is an honour to have been chosen as the Face of Footwork’s winter campaign. I’ve always had an obsession for footwear and I’m excited for everyone to see how I’ve incorporated the different designs into my style. For me, style is an expression of one’s individuality and the collection’s versatility is perfect for a girl like myself who is constantly looking for the edge in her looks,” Luthando said in a press release.

Shosha’s role as the brand’s winter ’17 Face sees her starring in a new integrated campaign, curently running across billboards, print and online media channels, as well as online store advertising. The range can be purchased through online portals such as Superbalist, Spree, Zando as well as theshowroom.online and all major retailers from the 1st of March.

2017 seems to be off to a good start for King Loot’s brand and I’m loving every moment of it! Rumour has it that Luthando is currently working on a new show for an international channel. “This collaboration with Footwork couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. In addition to my Metro FM radio show, I am currently making a few career moves and I’m certain that with the right pair of shoes on my feet, I will be able to put my best foot forward and achieve my goals,” she commented.
