Wow! I can’t believe we’re only on month two of 2017, so much has happened already! So many of our favourite celebs from JLo, AKA, Hailey Baldwin, Terrence Jenkins to Zayne Malik, sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, have hit the ground running, inking deals with so many brands this year. One of my favourite people to follow this year on Instagram, Jasmine Sanders, aka @Golden_Barbie, is having a 2017 that is just as fast-paced as the aforementioned celebs.
Content has become such an integral part of any inbound marketing strategy. Consumer needs have evolved, they no longer want advertisements, but instead demand content that entertains, informs and resonates with them. This is the reason we continue to see the rise of Digital Influencers, which has seen them become a part of almost every brand’s marketing strategy today. One person who seems to have caught the attention of brands and is fast becoming the world’s Influencer of the moment, is Jasmine.
With just over 2million followers on Instagram, Sanders is proving that she is more than just an Internet sensation. While Jasmine has worked with brands such as Nike and Aldo, with the most recent being her ambassadorship with Reebok Classics. She is also making waves in high fashion, gracing Miu Miu’s star-studded runway at Paris Fashion Week in 2016, alongside pals Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid and walking for Moschino and DKNY.
The alluring beauty was recently named the face of Moroccanoil’s new curl-focused line. “Millions of fans are captivated by Jasmine’s confidence, style, beauty and, of course, her gorgeous, curly hair, making her the perfect partner for this collection,” said Moroccanoil co-founder Carmen Tal. “I’m excited to be the face of Moroccanoil’s new curl line because I, too, have had trouble controlling my curls throughout time. My hair is naturally curly and I’m proud to give a voice to curly haired girls out there,” said Jasmine. As part of the partnership, she will front the brand’s latest print and digital advertising campaign, make event appearances and provide exclusive Moroccanoil curl content to her fans on her social channels.
In addition to working with fashion brands such as DKNY and Revolve, Jasmine has also snagged a new contract with Bulgari as the brand’s first Global Digital Ambassador. “Bulgari represents pure Italian luxury. It’s a lifestyle more than a brand — larger than life,” said the 25 year old.
I guess being Terrence J’s Bae and having A-list celebs such as the Kardashians, Fergie, Lala, Adriana Lima to mention but a few as part of your squad, doesn’t hurt. It will be interesting to see what other brands decide to tap into Ms Sanders’ growing Insta fame.
